Southern Fried Porkchops

Ingredients
  

  • 4 1/2 inch thick bone-in pork chops
  • 3/4-1 Cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Slap Ya Mama Seasoning
  • Kinders Seasoning "The Blend" (garlic, salt, pepper), to season chops to taste can also use just salt & pepper or salt, pepper & garlic powder
  • 1/2-1 Cup Canola or Vegetable Oil (to cover the bottom of the skillet)
  • 3 Tbsp butter

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour, seasoning salt, pepper, Slap Ya Mama seasoning in a medium bowl.
  • Heat oil in skillet over medium-medium high heat. Add butter.
  • While oil is heating up, season both sides of the pork chops with Kinders seasoning or salt, pepper, garlic powder.
  • Once oil is heated and butter melted, dredge pork chops in flour mixture and add to skillet, careful not to over crowd the skillet. Cook on one side for 3-5 minutes, turn over, and cook another 3-5 minutes, until no pink juices. Remove to serving plate covered with paper towel to absorb excess oil once done.
